Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

Hey Clare, you certainly called that one correctly, predicting that most likely I wouldn't get an E-mail reply from Model Expo's Parts Dept... just something in the mail.

Low and behold I picked up our mail yesterday and there they were in an envelope, no note, no invoice, just the plans. Good for them.

I've just finished the Cutty Sark and she's now sitting on the shelf waiting for a mild spring day when I can give her a final light blowover with clear varnish just to lock everything in place. Recently I picked up a couple of MS Launchway kits and as the scale looked ok I put the Clipper on one of them just for something different. I've uploaded a couple of photos of her.

Next one is the AL Red Dragon Junk, just unpacking everything now. It's been quite a while since I've done a build up hull but this one looks quite simple... the bow and stern are lovely and blunt! Even better... no ratlines!!

I'm a fan of Model- Expo. They have always been most
accommodating. Like you Brian, they don't e-mail a reply, they just send it.
