Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

I do hope you people are putting all these definitions in the "Glossary". You will get two points each for them, instead of one! On second thought, maybe not.

And...
Heave too - what you do over the side when you're at sea as in: If everybody else is going to heave then I'll heave too
Capstan - what you call the captain if his name is Stan
pilot - a job for the deckhands as in: pick it up from there and pilot up over there!
wheel - opposite of won't
mizzen - not where it's supposed to be. For some reason it happens to the mast more than anything?
