Model Shipways used to produce a solid hull Mayflower, but they replaced it with a plank-on-bulkhead several years ago. I have the older kit on my shelf for some future date. I do like the looks of the Billings kit, but I have one issue with Billings . . . you have to buy the fittings seperately (at least you used to have to do so!). It depends on what you want in a kit.

I am building the ME Mayflower POB kit now and I have received help from Chuck Passaro who built the prototype. ME kits are about the best that I have ever worked with and everything you need is supplied with the kit. There warranty is excellent, the keel for my Mayflower kit was badly warped and they replaced it, no charge.
