Hello to all from the Canadian Arctic. I'm a total newbie to the world of ship models, but hope to correct that. I have recently re-discovered an interest in tall ships, which led me to the modeling aspect.
Ever since I was 10 and saw a National Geographic special called "The Voyage of the Yankee", about a Brigantine that sailed around the world teaching land-lubbers how to sail, I have wanted to do the same. Maybe someday... |

Hi Ian. Brrrr!!. We thought that in England this year it was (and still is) cold but I cannot imagine what it must be like with permanant sub zero temperatures all winter. I am sure you will not regret having signed on. This site has been most helpful to me and there is a wealth of info from experienced members. Good luck with your modelling. Jonathan.
