Default Back Again!
Hello everyone!

Just thought I'd say hello to all, returned after many years. Things got away from me and I wasn't able to keep up with this forum or shipbuilding for many years. Now I hope I can get back and start again on what I really love to do!

I haven't been totally away, been doing a lot of reading and research on sailing ships. I've been trying to find books on how the ships were built and designed. Also been searching for detailed plans to scratch build a ship.

The one thing, and this really bothers me, is the design of the hull. When viewed from the bow or stern, the section of the hull describes a curve. What is the mathamatical formula to discribe that curve??? I should know this, I majored in engineering and math!!!!!

Glad to be back, working on putting up my work room at my new house, and hope to show some results very soon!
