jib boom rigging ?
I was wondering if anyone has a nice illustration/diagram or can explain how to rig the jib boom in the areas I have marked in with red X. I can't quite make out the details in the booklet photograph.

G'day Don, if you are talking about the two rings, they are most probably for the forestay rigging which comes down from the fore mast and you would'nt be using them till you start that part of the standing rigging, best regards John.

Actually I am interested in how the rigging that runs through the martingale is attached to the jib boom. I can't quite make out how it is secured. Don

Don: It appears to me (under a magnifying glass) that the line is wrapped around the jib and runs to the the martingale and then secures to the hull, on both sides.
The line appears to be doubled at the jib (one long line is looped around the jib at it's center, then the ends run aft.

I completed the rigging of the martingale. I ran the line around twice on the jib boom and on the third time around I tied the lines off and then run them down through the martingale.
