lubber - liquid rubber sailer - as opposed to buyer bow - the pointy end of the boat boom - another sound the gun makes jib boom - from the song "Life could be a Dream" spanker - what you do when she's bad line - what a sailer gives every girl cargo - what the car does when it's not stopped

And...
Heave too - what you do over the side when you're at sea as in: If everybody else is going to heave then I'll heave too Capstan - what you call the captain if his name is Stan pilot - a job for the deckhands as in: pick it up from there and pilot up over there! wheel - opposite of won't mizzen - not where it's supposed to be. For some reason it happens to the mast more than anything?
