Default USS Independence CV62 plans?

I was wondering of any one in the forum has ship plans for the USS Independence CV-62 circa, 1959-1963 or any of the Forrestal class ships during that time period.

I have been to the Floating Drydock and he has plans for the USS Ranger CV-61, but these are dated for 3/78.

My brother Jim served on board as an eletrician IC2 from 1960-63, and I am thinking of building this ship as my next project once I am done with my Enterprise kit.

Thanks Don

Have you tried searching Taubman Plans? I think they have the Forrestal plans in 1/48th, but not sure. Here is the link to their homepage. Also, there is a link to them from Loyalhannah Dockyard. http://www.taubmansonline.com/  (Loyalhannah is a great site!!!)
Good luck,
Boxcar

Thanks Boxcar, thats an awsome site. Do we have that in the Ships Plans under the links, if we don't I'll add it.

I'll check with them on the Forrestal prints and see what period they cover. When these carriers were first built they all had 5" guns for and aft. By the mid to late 70's they were all removed. So I am trying to find plans that fall before 1964.

I ordered plans from the Floating Drydock for the USS Ranger CV-61 which are dated for 3/78. This is the best I could do as the Indepence plans aren't available and I'll be using photos of the Indy from 1959 to set the gun placements. But this build will be on the back burner for a while. I have to finish up my Enterprise build first!
