DIVIT,
Historicships.com has several of the pages from the instruction book viewable on thier website. The instructions look really nice and understandable.
There is another forum out there that has a member who is building this model and he has posted lots of pictures. I'm not sure if I am allowed to post a link to another forum on this forum (seems like that would be a conflict of interest).
I have had a great experience with my Constellation.
Good price, quality materials, abudance of materials (I'm going to have quite a bit materials left over when it is done). Plus I was missing two sizes of eyebolts that were supposed to be in the kit and were not. I e-mailed them and they sent me what I needed in the mail - it took about two weeks to get the replacement parts (they came from Spain).
Richard

Richard,
I have never seen anyone reprimanded for posting links to other forums. In fact, if you click on the picture in the upper right hand portion of the Shipmodeling.net homepage, you'll see that we link directly to the two other major ship modeling forums: MSW and DDM. Since this forum is all about sharing knowledge and being helpful, I don't see why we should limit ourselves only to the resources on this site. Plus, most of the members here are members at the other forums as well.

Gary,

Were you aware that there is a current ship called the HMS Surprise (original replica of the HMS Rose). There's a chap the RoyalNavy_SailandSteam forum a Yahoo group who works aboard her. Not sure if he will be of any help to you or not in your build (depends on your plans for the build), but thought, because of his background you might touch base with him. He'll also gladly take any pictures of the ship (there's a number of them in the photo section there as well that he took)
