Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

Seems we're getting a lot of Navy in the Forum. I've noticed over the years that there is a lot of ship modelers who are or were Navy. Makes sense. I've also noticed that Your ship was the best in the fleet, even if it was a garbage scow. And even if it was, only an ex crewman could call it that. You can insult your ship, but don't let any one else insult it.
So let's start a on going poll. If you are ex Navy, or still in active service, vote and then leave a brief reply post here about your service. Note the keyword - brief. I know how you sailors can go on and on about the good old days. (LOL)
Please, only Naval people can vote.

Love that site too. Easy, "Charlie Foxtrot" = "FUBAR" (term from WW2)
I don't know if he'll answer your email daburb. I don't think he maintains it much any more. May be Haze Gray & Underway may respond. By the way, this is a great site for reading documents and images on many types of Naval vessels.

Interesting! I'm not in the Navy, but I am still in the active service. So, I guess I'm just a land lubber remembering my dad who retired from the Navy - a WWII veteran.
