Default Mantua Le Superbe 74

Hi guys,
Anyone out there ever build the Mantua kit "Le Superbe". What are its strengths and weaknesses? Are their after-market parts for it, copper bottoming available, etc? Is the actual history of this French 74 available beyond the snippet of info generally provided? Any input would be most welcome. Thanks!
Jaybo

Let me ask a question. Did they use copper plating at the time of this ship? I was under the impression that copper plating didn't get into use until approx. the 1800's.
