Default Mamoli's Black Prince

Hi Guys.

I am working on the Black Prince from Mamoli. Do any of you know of any good sources of info on this ship? Specifically drawings or paintings. I need some help with the stern and the plans aren't giving me the details that I need.

I searched the web and haven't found anything other than a couple of brief descriptions. Thanks in advance.

Dan

Here's a couple of pages I ran across. Don't think they're much help though....

http://www.history.navy.mil/photos/...-b/bk-prnc3.htm
http://www.battleships-cruisers.co....lack_prince.htm

Also ran across a page on the HMS Warrior which says it's sister ship was the Black Prince. Would finding info on that ship be any help???

Thanks for the help Winston.

I should have mentioned that the Black Prince that I am building is Ben Franklin's Privateer. He purchased it in 1795 according to the information in the box. I can't find any evidence of sister ships.

Here is a link to Model Expo that has it. http://www.modelexpo-online.com/cgi...&TRAN85=N&GENP= If anyone is interested.

Hi Dan,

I found a couple references to the ship. Not a lot of specifics:

http://books.google.com/books?id=Az...esult#PPA313,M1

Hope that helps!

Clare
