Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

Default Well, here I am

I love these forums when they are fun and informative. Quite often I am faced with netizens who wish to demonstrate their vast knowledge and never really get to the question at hand.

To be fair, I ask some unconventional questions because I go about things a little unconventionally. This isn't a bad thing, though. Sometimes my imagination helps even the most seasoned craftsmen through a tough spot.

I guess that says much about me. I get the job done but sometimes I must swim athwart the current to do it. I look forward to your thoughtful advise and I hope that I can contribute a bit as well.

Before I started building model boats, I was a plastic models dioramas type. I am very interested in work boats but dream of a decently executed frigate someday. So far, I have been successfully kit bashing Chesapeake Bay work boats and now I am tackling a POB project. Pictures to follow after the hull is fared.

Thanks for the space here.
