Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

I glued mine on both sides of the tiller and also pinned it. The opposite side of the pin has no "head" so I just glued the head of another pin to that side - looks like both sides have heads now.
On the rudder, I just pinned and added the extra head but did not glue the strip of brass to the rudder. This way it moves up and down.

Your right Bill, there's no way to get your money back on these models. I wouldn't pay that kind of money for my models either.

What ya do is give them away as gifts and tell the gift receiver that they are worth a lot of money. lol

Richard

Thanks. That's what I did. But I noticed that the little brass nails seem to have a tiny bit of "flash" below the head. I may file it off so the head lies real flat. Am I being a little compulsive? -don't answer :)
