Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

Default Announcing Model Expo's Outlet Store on eBay!

Hey guys,

We mentioned our eBay store a few weeks ago - we're finally up and running! Within the Model Expo Outlet, in addition to products we're looking to auction off, you'll be able to find items from our model kit "boneyard" - kits we've used over the years for parts. All kinds of partial kits from Amati, Corel, OcCre, Constructo, Manuta, Pan Art, Domus, Revival, EuroModel, and others will be up for auction in the Model Expo Outlet eBay store! Check back often as we'll be continuously adding kits!

Cheers,,,Eric

Very interesting news Eric but one BIG question.... do you intend to extend shipping to outside the US, especially up here to Canada?

I buy the vast majority of my kits and other modeling bits & pieces, including tools, on eBay because the range of available items includes exactly what you intend to offer. Picking up kits that have been started then abandoned tends nowadays to be the only way I can afford them, even with shipping charges that are going through the roof.

Being a Senior on a very fixed income is already pushing out of my financial range a great many builds I would dearly love to add to my "Bucket List"... I have this fear that building wooden model boats will become a luxury I can no longer afford.

"Scratching around" on eBay for what I can afford is adding a new dimension to "scratch building" for me and in no way am I the only one in this situation.

The short answer is - YES! We will ship anywhere & will charge actual shipping.

That's good news Eric and you should consider revising your listings to show "worldwide" shipping.

For obvious geographical reasons my default site is ebay.ca and a consequence of your currently showing shipping to the US only is that your seller profile is telling me you have no items for sale. This is also the case on the .co.uk site and most likely on any non .com "sister" site.

The only way I can access your item listings presently is by switching my browser page to eBay.com.
