Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

Re: Question about planking the Artesania Swift

Hi

I have never made this kit so I can't comment about the false keel.

Re: Which glue is best?

Hi Don

Re: planking problem HMS Racehorse

Hi Steven

It is rare that I can give a definitive answer to questions posed re wooden model ship building, but I have just finished Racehorse so for once I can speak with authority.

The 5 or 6...

Which glue is best?

I have seen a lot of posts both on this and other forums arguing whether super glue is better than white wood glue when building model ships.

I tend to use super glue these days as it is quick...

Re: Kit ReviewMantua HMS Racehorse

Hi

I was interested to read about the history and yes I agree it should be called Thunderer and yes she was lightly armed with cannonades for self defence and these are not included in the kit.

The...
