Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

Re: Mantua's Titanic

Thanks for the comment, James. I wasn't even aware of the Amerigo but, after checking it out, what a challenge that one would be. I've done two other builds and approached them both sort as...

Re: Such a Deal!

Hard to beat the deals from Ancient Mariner at Seagifts.com. Best pricing by far from what I've seen

Mantua's Titanic

I feel I have one last project in me so considering the Titanic. While it's not in the purist "tall ship" category I imagine it, nonetheless, will afford me some quality, worthwhile time. The whole...

Re: door/window grids

Thanks Ben but I solved my problem. Had a 1/16 grid I downloaded printed on a transparency at Staples. Worked out great.

door/window grids

The plans call for a diamond grid pattern manually scored onto a piece of clear acrylic and then secured in place for a door window insert. I'm having difficulty with this task and am wondering if...

Winston,

The kit they advertise is by Artenasia Latina and is the best price I could find...less than half of some vendors. The Virginia I'm finishing up, an entry level project, was AL and the...
