You might try using brass stock. We used to buy brass shims in auto parts stores for shimming bearings. They come in varying thicknesses in the thousanths of an inch range. You could fold...

I use a disc sander for clean edges on small pieces like these. I set the table to the required angle and carefully sand to the line. It makes beautifully sharp edges for any angle miter.
