Hi members, Hope you're ready I may need help

Did the usual models as a kid plastic kits of Cutty Sark, HMS Bounty, HMS Victory etc. Always wanted to build a wooden model, but in those days I couldn't afford a kit nor did I have the time, retired now tho' lots of time and lovin' it. First wooden boat was a Spanish Fishing boat (apparantly known as a 'Week-ender') I still thought these were expensive so when I saw the range of prepared materiels I decided to scratch build, a friend loaned me a book (Historic Ship models by Wolfram Zu Mondfeld) I now have my own copy it's invaluable. I built a Viking Longship (that's since gone the way of all longships, Viking funeral for the Hamster) Then took on a 17th century Frigate scaled at 4mm to 1ft., Still got that on display (Must get a case made for it). Current project is a 16th century Galleon 'Mayflower' length 85cm, beam 15cm, overall height 75cm. I then got hold of a copy of book written by Deene in 1670 AD. the details in that is ubelievable when formulating drawings etc.
