Finding time

I have had more time to model lately so I thought it would be good to read up on techniques.

Welcome aboard Gary,

You may want to look these over:
1 - Planking_the_hull, running the_planks
2 - A Novice's_Planking Rules
3 - 12 Spiling Steps
4 - GUIDE FOR THE BEGINNER WOOD MODEL SHIPWRIGHT (Part One)
5 - Forums' FAQ (Still under construction)
6 - List of recommended modeling_books

Many members have built the Phantom, so if you have any questions or need any help, just post it here in the Scuttlebutt

Dennis,

Thanks for the reading suggestions. I reciently finished Ship Modeling Simplified by Mastini and that helped me get kick started back into modeling. His explainations were easy to understand and follow. I really look forward to making some of the jigs he showed in the book.

Gary
