A New Newbie
Hi All.
I'm new to the Ship Modeling forum, but even newer to shipbuilding. I say this because here I am on the forum but I still haven't built a model ship. This all started when I uncovered a vintage wooden ship kit in our house. No one else seemed to be interested in it, so I thought I'd find out more, what it takes to build a wooden model, and then decide if that's for me. CCLesChats Bucks County in PA, USA |

Thanks for the welcome SawdustDave. I appreciate it.
Nancy Automerged Post: It's a Leclerc "Bluenose Schooner 1921" B-16. I think it was my husband's and he never constructed it. I just found the date on the plans: Oct 71. Now I know he purchased it before we had kids. He was very into sailing and woodworking at the time. btw, my avatar is scanned from the model plans. Thanks for the welcome, Supertec! Same back at you. Nancy/CCLesChats Automerged Post: Thanks Gary for the links and the welcome. Appreciate it. nancy Automerged Post: Thanks Todd for the warm welcome and links. Looks like you've been doing some serious shipwrighting there. Nancy/CCLesChats |
