Re: Constitution cross section

Hi Erwin,
I recently finished building the Constitution cross section. I'm a newbie myself, but there are a couple things I could pass on.
First, be stingy with the rigging line. I ran out and searched a lot of places before I found naturecoast.com.
Secondly, follow the advise in the instructions and bind all the blocks. Study tables 3 and 4 closely, some of blocks are easy to miss.
Do an inventory of the supplied blocks. Some of them may not be usable and you'll have to make your own. Also, make sure the holes in the blocks are clear and large enough for the line.
Putting a drop of thin CA at the end of a line and trimming it at an angle with an Xacto knife makes it easier to run the line through the blocks.
I'm sure there is much more advise that more experienced modelers can give you, but I hope these tips help.
