Amati Master Cutter
I just received the Master cutter by amati. They claim that you can cut any angle up to 45 degrees. I can't see how this is possible. when cutting straight there is a space in the bar near the cutting area the same at 45 degrees on both sides. at any other area there is a plastic strip that will be in the way of the blade when cutting. Am I missing something.

Re: Amati Master Cutter
I bought one of these a month ago and have not been impressed, it seems seems cheap, 'plasticky' and overpriced, it does unfortunately seem to be the case with a fair number of Amati tools IMHO.

Re: Amati Master Cutter
I also have the Master Cutter. Works OK for straight cuts but not for angles. I use it if I have a lot of pieces that are the same lenght such as bulwarks. .

Re: Amati Master Cutter
For angles try a miter/sander type tool to work with your razor-cutter. NorthWest makes one, also Fourmost Products. You can do some very precise work quickly when using the two together, Lee
