Another "next project" thread
 

I'm not even half planked on my Pride II project and am looking at models for my next endeavour...it's a sickness...like I don't have enough to play with right now!

Charles Morgan, seems to be a good kit, well designed, but with many, many challenges. A sentimental fav of mine.
Constructo Enterpris(z)e...I like the ship's history, but this, like so many others, is a kit based on conjecture at best, as no plans of the original exist. I have been disappointed to find how many "pretend" ship kits are out there.
A Mayflower or Santa Maria...the designs differ significantly, it would take some research to find the most accurate kits. The natural wood with paint trim, old round designs and simple(er) rigging is appealing.
A clipper ship...BIG clipper ship. The rigging is daunting (I've rigged one model to date...). The Thermopolye is appealing but the small scale would make the rigging more difficult. But to build it with the green hull and white spars, how pretty would that be??
I wish there was a model of the old Black Ball packet type liner, there were so many of them in their day, routinely crossing the Atlantic.
Having experienced ME kits, the Niagra is on the list too...or maybe one of the simpler Midwest kits just for enjoyment.
...enough daydreaming, I can get a plank or two on before the stores open to finish my shopping...

Dave, I do have to say, my suggestion would be the C W Morgan. I am building her now and am pleased with the complexity and challenge and completeness of the kit from MS. I have some images in my gallery of how it is going, check them out if you like. I also have a quite a few reference pics from her taken last summer. If you get the chance to see her in Mystic, do it!
