Hello John,

Welcome to the forum. Jim's message to you is spot on - It's a great place to be and you will always find help. I see you're doing 'Bluenose' . There are various places to look for guidance on how to do things or technical aspects and the occasional bit of inspiration. I use other member's photos in the forum gallery to assist. Jim Lefever has done a superb version of 'Benjamin W Latham' which is very similar to 'Bluenose'. You will also find guidance at 'modelshipbuilder.com' where there is an excellent 'Bluenose' practicum by Gene Bodnar under 'projects'. I also found 'modelshipworld.com' a great source for more detail in their gallery. Ship albums are listed alphabetically and Richard Austin's photos are superb. All I would say from my observations are that no two Bluenoses are alike! Good luck with your retirement and happy building.

Regards,

Rudea (Chris)
