Hi All You Conny Builders...and future Conny Builders. Just checking in. The past two weeks, I've been working on the inside bulwarks planking and installing the gunport openings on the spardeck. I took a bit of a side trip by filling in (with wood and filler) the space between the inside and outside planking above the spar deck. I decided to do this "extra" chore because I wanted more stability above the spar deck, a better base to rest the outer planks, and more wood to file/sand down for consistent thickness around the ship. And I'm sure all of you have experienced that once you start you work it until you can get it as perfect as possible. After this I'm onto the main rail.
