Hi Jean-Pierre.
I asume you're reffering to Dan's Gallery (open in a blank window) in the Photo Gallery. Yes, it would be nice for members to add descriptions to their photos, either by clicking the 'Edit Photo' link under each photo, or when they are uploading the photos to begin with. But that's up to each individual member. Some members may not have the time, or they may have slow Internet connections. I'm sure Dan will catch up with his photos sooner or later.

As for photos inserted into forum posts, most members do add comments and / or descriptions to the posted images. But, again, that is their option.
