Hi Don --
I have most of ther books you mention , and also could not find any info on deminsions for a #6 , however , I do not see the problem using the scaled deminsions from a #4 to a #9 as you suggest . I assume you are referring to marine (ship) gun carriges and not land based (fort) carriges , as they are different in design .
