Default gun carriage dimensions

I have been doing a lot of research on gun carriages and have found several rules for various parts of the gun carriage in relation to the size of the cannon ball. Such as found in Charles Davies books The Built Up Ship Model and Model Builders Assistant, Milton Roths Ship Modeling from Stem to Stern and Historic Ship Models by Mondfeld and several online books dealing with Naval gun carriages.

I am looking for dimensions of a 6# gun carriage. The only dimensions I can say with some certainty based on all the above references is the thickness of the brackets and various bolts.

In the book Ship Modeling from Scratch by Edwin Leaf, there are shown some dimensions for a 4# and a 9# gun carriage on pg.153. Would it be ok do you think to proportionately scale between these dimensions to obtain those of a 6# gun carriage? Or, does anyone have the dimensions for certain gun carriages?
