Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

Default Nautical Research Guild new website

I just wanted to announce the new website for the NRG. It is now up and running. Please do visit the site and browse around. There are no longer any password protected areas. Anyone can view the gallery of member projects etc.

If you are a member of the NRG I also encourage you to submit your photos for inclusion in the gallery. The NRG (me) will set up your personal gallery page for you. All of your projects will be hosted there. Be sure to visit it. At present we only have a few galleries up there and I look forward to seeing yours among them.

In addition. Also visit the "ship model resources page" this area will be frequently updated with new articles and tips.

We have also posted a page of the NRG photo contest winners for 2011. There were some great looking models entered. The winners each have a gallery with multiple images of each model.

Visit the online store...buy back issues of the NRJ or a copy of the shop notes I or II. You can also become a new member or renew your membership online.

The shopping cart area takes all major credit cards and also paypal. I know the NRG received many request for paypal as a choice for payment. That is now available.

Any questions...dont hesitate to ask me.

Chuck
