I was doing a little research on a steam box and came across this article on the American Woodworkers website. It looks fairly simple to construct and uses and electric tea kettle. Just thought I would pass it along.

Very elegant in it's simplicity.
I ran across one the other day in the Model Ship Building Secrets DVD. A piece of radiator hose strapped to something to keep it straight, plugged at both ends with a steam hose from the pressure release hole in a pressure cooker. For my 'real' Whitehall I borrowed (really, with their consent - I returned it later!) a piece of 4" copper Pipe, soldered a plate to one end and placed it on a Coleman stove. Rested the other end on a stepladder and plugged the opening with a rag. Whatever works! Ed |
