Hello to the Forum. After almost four years of my Bluenose sitting unfinished on the shelf, I am attempting to start again to complete what is to me the most beautiful sailing vessel...Bluenose II. My first attempt ended with hull planking completed, but in cutting out the scuppers, it looked so bad that I just put the hull away in the closet. Now inspired, I have torn out the bulwarks and scuppers I originally made and will try again. I am thankful to find this group of modelers as a source of information and inspiration.

I agree, the Bluenose and others like her are beautiful ships. I'm new to this but I know I will be building a fishing schooner as either my second or third project, maybe even the Bluenose. Which kit are you working on? What are your impressions of it? Keep at it this time!
