Hello Guest! There's a lot to look over, so sit back with a cup of coffee, relax and browse around. We have a great group of ship and boat modelers here, both newbies and old salts, from all over the world. Our goal here is to help each other, without criticism or rebuke. Both newbies and old salts alike can learn from each other. No one has all the answers. Our most basic rule is simple, respect for your fellow members and their opinions. And don't take yourself too seriously! wirewolf (John, AKA - Cap), Forum Administrator

I was going to bend up a piece of wire to set the deadeye spacing when it occurred to me to try a standard size staple which worked perfectly. You can see them in the first photo, connecting the foremast deadeyes. The second photo shows my first set of lanyards on the mainmast shrouds. I was dreading the whole process of getting the shrouds setup but it wasn't too bad actually. I really thought the lanyards would be a nightmare but it was a piece of cake.

(Ben- notice I didn't file off those bits on the fife rails, I'll get it right on the next one!)

You've made quite a bit of progress since the last time I check this thread out. The ship looks great! I have to find some time to get mine going again. Now that you're almost done I'll have a great resource for building mine. Take it easy. Mike

Mike,

"Almost done," that's a laugh! I suppose I am closer to the end than the beginning but it still seems a long way off. I'm enjoying the work though. Get busy with yours!
