Picked up a bottle of this Elmers stuff yesterday at Home Depot. Looking at it in the bottle, it appears about the color of thin chocolate milk. When it dries, it darkens significantly. I can see the value of this stuff in the secong planking of the double planked kits, it will likely mask most any gaps in that darker plank layer. On lighter woods, it clearly shows you where the glue is.

Elmers Carpenters Wood Glue for Dark Woods...it's good stuff.

Hello Dave! I saw on your POB project that thin parts of your bulkhead pieces were breaking. A tip I was given when that happens is to use regular CA glue to attach the piece, then use more CA on the outside areas letting it absorb into the wood. it has worked for me on fragile parts. Rick
