Hello everyone. I am a retired Electronics Engineer and Technician who is looking for something to do with my time. I have always wanted to build this model, so I thought I would give it a shot.

Sometimes it seems to me that engineering (I'm not one) and model ship building go together remarkably well, you need to pay attention to details in both disiplines. The Cutty Sark is a well known and documented vessel, so there is a lot of information about specific details available (unlike many other common projects) so you should be able to find out pretty much anything you want to know about her.

Assuming you're building a kit, who's is it and how's it going? If not, we'd definitely like to know about that as well.
