I think you'll find a lot of interesting discussion on modeling here in the group. Generally questions are promptly answered and I often find that there's something of value in the discussion regardless of experience level. Usually one good idea triggers a host of others.

You note that you're working on sails and rigging, from that I presume you've already made considerable progress on your build. How's it gone so far?
