I'm glad to have found this forum. It seems to be full of helpful, friendly people.
I just started my first kit, the Bounty Launch, and am currently bending and installing the frames. So far, so good.

Thanks for the welcome and the helpful links.
I just made my first mistake. I had the frames bent to "pretty good, but not good enough". So I thought I'd make final adjustments by tossing them into a pot of boiling water, then tweak to "perfection". OOPS - they all straightened out, so I had to rebend them (easier the 2nd time). This was only the starboard half, so for the port side I will do them one at a time, just boiling the sections that need tweaking.

Glad to have you aboard Bill,
Sounds like you are learning pretty quick. We all learn from our mistakes and if you're like me you will make many of them. One nice thing about wood models is that errors can be corrected. Post some photos when you get a chance. Feel free to ask questions and offer advice.
