Thanks for the tips! I found that a hot air gun works pretty well for loosening recently misglued pieces! Also just received my next project, Model Shipways MS2040 USS Constitution. My hat is off to model expo: the day after I ordered it,I saw the same model on their website for an even lower price. When I called and made them aware of this, they took care of things in minutes, crediting my credit card for the difference! Now THAT"S customer service!!

Hi Matt,
With the Bounty on the work shop board and the Constitution waiting in the wings your future is set. I have always been satisfied with Model Expo's service. The only complaint I have is about the gift certificate I received for Christmas. It could only be used for mail in orders thus could not take advantage of their sale prices that are normally restricted to internet and phone orders. Otherwise no complaints. You should post some photos as you progress.

I just order MS Bounty launch 'cause it was on sale for $69.99 on line. It should be arriving in a couple days. My only complaint is I didn't get an email confirming the order. It's possible it got caught in my spam filter but I am pretty good about checking those emails when I know I have ordered something. Also, $12 shipping fee, ouch!

Sorry to hear about your gift certificate calamity Dennis. That really sucks and seems a kind of strange restriction to place on a gift certificate. I'll have to remember that for future reference.

Brian,
Congrats on your price change - good for them!
It looks like the Constitution will be your second model??
You are a brave and adventurous soul to take on that model or perhaps I am too easily intimidated. :-)
She is a beautiful model and I hope some day I will have the skills to build her too.

Don,
Your gonna love that Bounty Launch. It taught me a lot about plank on frame construction and planking in general.

Hi Dennis! :-)
