Wish you could insert Images from your Photo Gallery directly into a forum post, or even a Private Message? Well now you can. :banna:
Look for the little box titled, "My Pictures", just below the "Smilies" box in any of the post editing windows.
Click "Open", and a Pop up window will display all of your photos in your gallery. Instructions are at the top of the window.
This works best in Internet Explorer.
(Netscape, Opera, or Firefox will only allow two options, #3 or #4, and the thumbnails may not show properly. In other words, I wouldn't use this feature unless you use Internet Explorer)
One advantage of using this method is that you can place the thumbnail image anywhere in your post, as opposed to attachments that are placed at the bottom of the post.

You can insert images in four different ways:
1 - Insert a Thumbnail that links to your Gallery.
2 - Insert a Thumbnail that opens the original image in a new window (default).
3 - Insert just the Thumbnail.
4 - Insert the original Image. Please keep this option to a minimum (one or two photos).
Remember, some of our members connect to the Internet by phone modem, and a lot of full size Images would take quite a long time to load. If you want to display more than two or more large images, choose option #2.
See my examples below:

2 - Master and Commander:

4 - The 'Young America':

For those members (like me), that have a lot of images and or Albums, we're working on a script that will allow the selection of an Album and or a Gallery Page. It would cut down on the amount of 'Browsing' you would have to do.
Enjoy, John
