I am currently working on the Cutty Sark (Constructo 1:90) and am having problems with the aft companionway. The kit plan shows it flush with the forward part of the poopdeck cabin. But, I have an elevation print from ‘The Log of the Cutty Sark’ that shows the companionway about 3 feet proud of the cabin. I have a couple of pictures on my site (http://scaleships.googlepages.com/claycs) that show what I am talking about.
Does this make sense to anyone? Does anyone have any theories?
I hope to use this thread to share/discuss other issues and information about the Cutty Sark. If you are working on any Cutty Sark kit or scratch-build (or are interested) please join in!
