If anyone is interested in upgrading their photo etched brass parts in their kits to laser cut wood this site can help. Just a few kits right now are supported incl the Victory. :=)

http://www.laserservices.net/wood.html

Also, Mantua/Panart/Sergal is phasing out the photo etched brass in favor of lasered wood. Their newly supplied kits should contain the new parts. If you want to buy the parts you can visit here. They will provide payment info as well.

Very nice. :thumbup: They seem to be setting up an other site too, at;
Double O Laser (http://www.doubleolaser.com/)
I'll have to send them an invitation to exchange links with us. But I see that they don't have a links page as yet. I'll see what they say. Maybe they haven't had the chance to set one up.

BTW, an update on the list of my photo etched brass kit parts sent to Double O Laser:

A/L - San Juan Nepomuceno; transom incl quarter galeries, and various parts.
A/L - San Giovanni Battista; many! parts incl., windows, doors, gratings. Unfortunately half the kit is metal including tops! :(
A/L - Independence; Transom, couple of windows, easy...

Also,
A/L - HMS Supply; Not my kit but I know its being done as well.

If anyone else has brass parts send them in for free. It improves our models with minimal headaches for all of us. :thumbup:
