Description: Here are the finished ship’s boats. The 40’ (12.2 M) seine boat is 10”s (254mm) long. The dory, also scratch built, is 4”s (102mm) long, a scale 16’er or (4.9 M). While on larger fishing schooners, the seine boat was carried aboard (like the dory) the Latham is too small. Schooners of her size, towed their seine boats to sea.

Gary

Thanks for looking. This project made a really nice break from the larger issues of the Latham. It was a lot of fun.

Regards

Jim
