Thanks guys! I put the bungs on top thinking I could spy anyone trying to take an extra ration of water/rum. I am really liking the deck myself james. I am very pleased with how it has turned out. It seems to be taking on a good weathered look.

How did you get that great weathered look to the deck?
I like your canons and trucks. I've only gotten a fourth of mine finished and it seems like it's taking forever to do them.

The deck material is a wood called Mukaly at least that is what the kit manufactures call it. It resembles basswood or something similar. I used Minwax Driftwood stain on the deck. I applied it with a brush and then wiped up the excess.
