Beautiful work Dave and congratulations!

You've not only done an amazing transformation of your original model, but you really show-off what can be done with a mini-model at a scale that is often referred to as "Extreme Miniature".

Nicely done!

Clare

Congratulations Dave, a superb piece of work. The eye of an eagle, the hand of a surgeon and the patience of a saint!

Thanks guys. Because of it's history, this little model has a special value in our family. She now stands among the other ships in my growing fleet a little more proud than before. Real pleased with the results.

Just received a reply from the curator for the HMS Victory in Portsmouth with regards to an inquiry I made directly to their web site. For what it's worth, turns out this just may be the smallest fully rigged model of the Vic on the planet. Basically, the response was that, although there are smaller models within their museum, none would qualify as "fully rigged". Should this not earn me at least one tiny 1:180th scale cup of coffee....make that a beer....
