1 - After you have uploaded the first batch of images, you can come back to this page and upload more. They will be appended to your gallery or Album.
2 - If you have a lot of images dealing with the same subject (usually four or more), or if you plan to add photos at a later date (on-going project), it might be best to Create an Album first and then upload those images into that Album.
3 - Select your Album name from the drop down menu. Other wise they will be uploaded in to the General Members' Gallery.
4 - Allowed file types: jpg, .jpeg, .png
5 - Each photo: No bigger then 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high (best for internet viewing). The system will automatically resize images, but the image will be clearer if you resize to 800 by 600 prior to uploading.
The system will also create a 400px by 300px medium size of your original, along with thumbnails.
6 - Each individual file (photo) size per photo: 300 kbs'each (that's a lot, most images run about 50 to 100 kbs). In other words, they have to be compressed to no more than 300 kb's each. ZIP file uploads allowed (2MB limit)
7 - You can edit the photos (descriptions, photo's name, etc) after the photos are uploaded and at any time after that.
Please Note: It would be help full to add brief description to your photos. You can do so during to upload phase, or afterwards, using the 'Edit Photo' link under your individual photo (s) See this example in Show photo View.
8 - If you want your photos to show in a certain order, name them alphabetically, or by numbers. For example: If you have a number of photos named Bluenose, and you want to show from Bluenose Bow to Bluenose Stern in that order. Then name them, A-Bluenose Bow, B-Bluenose Stern, etc. Or by numbers, using three digits. Ex: Bluenose 001, Bluenose 002, Bluenose 003, etc.
Note: You can sort your photos at any time by going in to your Album Admin. Under "Actions", look for and click the link, "Sort Photos". Select an option from the drop down menu "Sort By", or you can set the "Position" for each photo by entering three digit position numbers. In either case, make sure you hit the "Submit" button at the bottom of each page when done.
Note: Please do not use a long Title name with underscores or hyphens between words. For example, "Victory_Hull_view_scratch_built_001". This "blows out" table widths. Instead, write the example with spaces between words thus, "Victory Hull view scratch built 001". This will allow the long title to "Wrap" around and not increase table widths.

If the server times out when you are trying to upload, select fewer photos to upload. Try two or three at a time. Or try uploading the photos in a zip file. The server will unzip them automatically.
