Year or period represented: War of 1812 History: The ship changed hands between the British and American Navies more than once. Scale and / or dimensions: 1/8" scale. Construction method / materials used: Oak frames with birch planking, deck furniture made of mahogany, pine and some walnut and scratch built, ships guns, belaying pins etc. turned from pine and / or box wood using a Unimat lathe. Additional information: All running rigging is functional and can control the sails. Ship is approx. 23" long from tip of bowsprit to ships boat at the stern, and approx. 23" from keel to truk of main mast. Spars are all of pine split out and formed with a plane then sanded to round.
