Lauck Street Shipyard HMS Kingfisher

I received enhanced kit #6 last week, and have had a little time (not much) to look at this large box. I am very impressed with the resin castings for the cannons and carvings. The instructions and photos are on 2 cd's and the instructions are broken down into separate chapters for printing. The wood in my kit is boxwood and beautifully milled. Billings Boats' HMS Bounty BB492

Considering my next project, i have recently discovered a Billings Boats HMS Bounty or BB492 for the equivalent of 330US dollars. It is a 1:50.
So my questions are:
Has anyone had any experience with this particular model? (my forum searches came up rather empty)
Is this a good quality model?
Is it good value for money?

How does it compare to AL's 1:48 Bounty?
